The selection is vast and the quality is excellent. You will see every cover of the Saturday Evening Post illustrated by Rockwell from 1916-1963. In addition there are numerous advertisements, movie posters, portraits, the iconic Four Freedoms works and more. The works on display in the museum were specifically chosen from the largest privately-held collection of Norman Rockwell published prints in America.
Norman Rockwell chronicled America from 1916 to 1976 through thousands of magazine covers, advertising, movie posters, portraits and other art. Rockwell's 60-year career spanned most major events of the 20th Century - world wars, depression, technological change, the baby boom, social change and the space race. The museum is a treasure trove of American memories.
